This week marks 10 years since I changed careers to software development.<\/em> Monday:<\/strong> Reached the 2000 point mark on Stack Overflow, comes with new edit privileges! Awesome evening walk<\/a> up Lion’s Head – I think I did it in sub 35 mins. It was like Grand Central up there.<\/p>\n Given-up snacking on almonds – think they give me pimples.<\/p>\n Tuesday:<\/strong> Tough bug (non-)fixing day. Toad quiz, came fourth.<\/p>\n Wednesday:<\/strong> 11 hours at work. Kuaia Express dinner, gym. Time between getting home and going to bed = 30m. Sad state of affairs.<\/p>\n Thursday:<\/strong>\u00a0First time I can remember that a deadline got postponed only because of me. Beer, ribs and chips with Rob at De Kelder.<\/p>\n Friday:<\/strong> Donated blood #68. Upgraded to the paid pro version of my preferred podcatcher<\/a>, and voted-up the free apps I use regularly: Support your app developers. Watched Breaking Bad.<\/p>\n Horrible week at work, struggling with everything I attempt. Again reminded how I haven’t made life easy for myself with the new job.<\/p>\n Saturday:<\/strong> Couple of hours of work, Kia showroom visit, lunch with Mom at Rosati’s<\/a>. DIY fun, walked<\/a> twice round Rondebosch Common. Another couple hours of work.<\/p>\n Sunday:<\/strong>\u00a0Couple of hours of work, DIY fun, walked the dog.
