Monday: Sold the old car radio. New firmware from Samsung Kies failed to install, but the phone’s not bricked, thankfully.
Tuesday: Walked around Tokai plantation with Barbs. She asked me what I did over the weekend and I couldn’t remember! A bit worrying. Toad quiz, came seventh.
Wednesday: Android 4.0.3 (ICS) update for my phone. Yay! First impressions: pretty, slick, and way cool. Web surfing – caught up with a few saved instapaper items – amazing that what can seem interesting enough at work to save for later viewing, is really not interesting at all.
Great quote by Ward Cunningham: “I have to be making progress everyday. But if you think about too many things at once, you get into this kind of fearful state. Sometimes you have to consciously ignore things that you know you’re going to have to do. And those could be things that you just always have to do. And they might be things that people have told you you’re going to have to do. That ability to focus is critical. To do the simplest thing you know.”
Thursday: Finished Project Euler problem #22. Spin class. Updated both my MoveFiles app and Reformatter apps which both had minor issues after the ICS upgrade.
Friday: Dentist appointment, gym, pizza takeaway from Da Vinci’s, try out minced beef, caramelised onions, fresh tomato and rocket. Yum. Watched The Thomas Crown Affair movie (1999 remake), pretty good.
Saturday: Printing at Topcopy Claremont, chinese lunch with Mom, watched rugby with Barry, finished problem #21 of Project Euler.
Sunday: Walked up Lion’s Head, nice weather, lots of people. Lunch with Mom, watched F1 grand prix. DIY.
