Week 780

The week of Aug 31, 2026 – Sep 6, 2026

Monday: A good day at work for a change — managed to get some coding done. Two walks up and down the road. After-work spin class, found it quite tough. Collected the wine bag we left at the restaurant on Saturday.

Tuesday: Two walks up and down the road. Got some work done again. What a difference distraction-free time makes to productivity.

Wednesday: ENT specialist appointment at Kingsbury. Advised to get an MRI scan to rule out acoustic neuroma.

Thursday: Work from home day. Focused work day.

Friday: First gym session in a while. Didn’t get the work done that I expected to. Dinner with Brian and Di at Al’s Place. Really nice evening despite Susan not really being up to it.

Saturday: Trip to Paarl with Susan and Helga for the Waterblommetjie Festival. Spread over three farms, we enjoyed Windmeul Kelder most, but loved the look of Rheebokskloof for a future Sunday lunch outing. Home to the F1 qualifying and TV watching.

Sunday: Gardening. Some work — unfortunate that I feel the need to do it, and two weekends in a row at that, but glad that I did. Grocery shopping. F1 watching.
