Week 779

The week of Aug 24, 2026 – Aug 30, 2026

Monday: Two walks up and down the road. Start of sprint. After-work spin class. Little else to report.

Tuesday: Good news from the auction — the vintage scale was sold. Two walks up and down the road. After-work grocery shopping.

Wednesday: Susan ubered to me after work. Dinner at the Indian restaurant in Fish Hoek, then quiz night at the lifesaving club.

Thursday: Work from home day. Nice evening braai; we finished a bottle of wine.

Friday: Midday meet and greet with the neighbouring office. Every day seems to get derailed into other work than what I’d planned.

Saturday: Susan’s birthday. Morning spent in the workshop. A little work to catch up on the week’s distractions. Then birthday dinner at Mama Roma in Newlands with Tinky and Anthony.

Sunday: Lazy morning. Walk around the neighbourhood. More work, despite it being a Sunday. Visited Leanne in hospital. Lunch at Brass Bell. Very busy in Kalk Bay — finding parking was difficult. Chores and a Rob & Marian chat.
