The week of 2013/02/18 – 2013/02/24
Selling a car…
Monday: Gym: tough spin class, wasted time on the net.
Tuesday: Gym at my old local (Steenberg, I miss it), Toad quiz, came tied seventh.
Wednesday: Nice marinaded lamb chops from PnP Canal Walk, admin, advertised my old car for sale. Asked for no calls after 8.30pm, but installed the Semi Silent app all the same so as not to be woken up by callers – true enough got calls, sms’s and Whatsapp msgs.
Thursday: The first response to the ad led to a viewing, an offer and my acceptance. Payment was made within an hour. Couldn’t have been easier! Haircut, walked once around Tokai Park.
Friday: Said goodbye to my Citi Golf of nine years. Pizza with Rob and Paula at Rascals. Watched some Walking Dead.
Saturday: Bellville traffic department to register the sale of the car. Lunch with Mom and Shirley at Monkey Valley resort, drove back along Atlantic seaboard. The writing bureau finally has a home. NikNaks for dinner.
Sunday: Cleaned my flat, grocery shopping, climbed Lions Head, scheme language readings.
